Hello!

I am a Bay Area artist enjoying painting California landscape and people of all walks of life. The other part of me is a professional illustrator working with museums and academic journals and magazines. I believe good art has the power to elevate our spirits and enriches our lives. My paintings are dialogues with this world we share, hoping to find truth and beauty in many corners. My current focus is portraiture, painted with 19th century Naturtalism techniques but with 21th century sensibility.
